The olive tree at position Kardamiana, near the village Genna, province Amari, has been declared by the Association of Cretan Olive Municipalities as a natural monument due to shape and relief trunk. Its variety is called throumbolia and is grafted on a rootstock of a wild olive tree.

The trunk of the tree initially appears as four trees, but it has actually a very wide base with four main arms. The trunk at a height of 0.8m has a diameter or 3.6m and a perimeter 10.10m, while its base has a diameter of 3.9m and a circumference of 16.7m.
