Beaches

Opposite the bustling beach of Agia Marina, located to the west of Chania, are the islets of Agii Theodori, also known as Thodorou. To the south of the central island is a unique, extremely secluded beach

Neratzia beach is the northernmost on the Ravdoucha coastline and is located approximately 21 km west of Chania, at the base of the Rodopos peninsula.

Just below the Sfakia fortress and inside the small harbor of Chora, you will find the beach of Ombrosgialos. It is minimally organized, has a southern orientation.

Stavrolimni beach, also known as Stravolimni, is located at the northernmost tip of Gavdos. More specifically, it lies on the footpath that connects the beaches of Lavrakas and Pyrgos.

Kritama Beach is located on the southern coastline of the Chania regional unit, within the boundaries of the Skaloti community in the province of Sfakia.

Agia Kyriaki is a picturesque corner of the city of Chania, located within the elegant and aristocratic district of Halepa. It borders the historic Tabakaria, where the old stone tanneries still stand.

Kladissos is a long sandy beach located in the area of Daratsos just 3 km west of the Venetian Port of Chania, opposite the islet of Lazaretta. The beach is formed west of the Kladissos River.

Stavromenos Beach lies just about 1 kilometer east of Sfakaki Beach and forms a natural continuation of the long coastline of Rethymno Bay.
