Neratzia beach is the northernmost on the Ravdoucha coastline and is located approximately 21 km west of Chania, at the base of the Rodopou peninsula.
It hosts the unique port of Ravdoucha and is the only sandy beach in the area, although in several places rocky. The beach, like the entire Ravdoucha coastline, often has very strong waves, due to the frequent northwesterly winds.
Nearby is the church of Agios Fotios. The landscape of the surrounding area is magnificent, with lush green steep slopes disappearing into the sea. The village is built in a panoramic position with stunning views of the entire gulf of Kissamos.
