Armenopetra is located in a rather difficult location to the south of mount Vouvala, between Agia Galini and Agios Pavlos, in the vicinity of the village of Melambes in the province of Agios Vasilios. Although the main road passes nearby, locating it is not very easy and you need to go down a fairly bad dirt road to the coast.
To locate it, start from Agios Georgios, next to Agia Galini, heading towards Agios Pavlos. At some point you will see the rock Aspros Volakas or Armenopetra near the coast. Near the beach, the stream that flows through the impressive wild gorge of Agios Antonios with its large rappels and collects the waters west of the peak of Vouvala.
The beach has impressively clear waters and fine dark pebbles and sand in places, while it is almost always empty. It also has a view of the Paximadia islets.
