The tiny beach of Lygidi is located next to the seaside settlement of Kalo Nero, near the Kapsa Monastery, 68km southeast of Agios Nikolaos and 33km east of Ierapetra. It forms a natural boundary between the communities of Lithina and Perovolakia in the province of Sitia.
The beach is protected by cliffs and accessed by a break that creates a stream about halfway through. Nearby are the beach's two only tamarisk trees, where you can usually find shade (if they are not already taken).
Thodoris beaches, also knows as Limanakia, is located 71 km southeast of Agios Nikolaos and 36 km east of Ierapetra, just before we reach Botzalaki beach near Goudouras. It is a series of three different wonderful pebble beaches with crystal clear waters.
Daskalio Beach is located within the boundaries of the Naval Base in Kyriamadi, Sitia, near Cape Sidero. Access from land is prohibited due to the military zone.
It is the second and central of three consecutive coves in the wider area known as Ammoudi, also referred to as Second Ammoudi, west of the main Ammoudi beach or Dragon’s Cave.
Access is possible from Neapolis initially by a very narrow cement road that starts from the settlement of Koudoumalos and descends through a dense forest of Euphorbia characias to the monastery of Agios Andreas
Chiona beach is located a few meters east of Skisma in Elounda, about 10km north of Agios Nikolaos. To get here from Skisma, follow the coastal road that leads to the Spinalonga peninsula, passing by the old salt pans.
