The beach of Agios Andreas is formed at the eastern base of Cape Drepani in the Finokalia area. It belongs administratively to the village of Neapolis and is the northernmost beach in the Mirabello district. Above its pebble beach is the now deserted monastery of Agios Andreas with its cavernous temple of Saint Andrew and pine forest.
Access is possible from Neapolis initially by a very narrow cement road that starts from the settlement of Koudoumalos and descends through a dense forest of Euphorbia characias to the monastery of Agios Andreas. From the monastery, a short dirt road descends to the old fountain above the sea. From the point where the dirt road ends, a short path begins to the beach.
Agios Andreas beach has the characteristics of the beaches of the Ano Mirabello area. More specifically, the bottom of the beach has large stones and pebbles, while it is surrounded by conglomerate (and loose) rock that forms a cliff, which offers shade almost all day long. The rocky bottom is suitable for fishing. The beach almost always has waves, although its momentum stops at Cape Drepani.
