The tiny beach of Lygidi is located next to the seaside settlement of Kalo Nero, near the Kapsas Monastery, 68km southeast of Agios Nikolaos and 33km east of Ierapetra. It forms a natural boundary between the communities of Lithines and Perivolakia in the province of Sitia.
At the exit of a small ravine next to olive groves and a narrow bay with a west orientation, the small rocky beach is formed, which the locals call Mikro Limanaki (small harbour). The beach is known to few as it is not directly visible from the main road, although access is very easy.
