Pigadi beach at Koufonissi
Within walking distance from the sea, on the north coast of Koufonissi islet, we meet the scenic chapel of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos), the patron saint of the sailors. Here several sandy beaches are formed.
The trail to Saint Nicholas church starts from a small beach used for tying the boats. Next to this beach there is a small well for pumping water and a small stone-built guardhouse. The name of the beach is taken after this well (pigadi in Greek)
