Heromilia beach
(1 Vote)

Heromilia beach is located in the area of Agia Triada (also known as Tso) in Sitia province, just 2km east of Atherinolakkos Power Station. It is the westernmost beach of the beaches of Livari.

Hermilia is formed at the exit of the small canyon Tripiti, named after a characteristic hollow rock that rises a few meters north of the coast (tripiti means "with hole").

The beach can be reached after descending from the summer lodgings of the inhabitants of Agia Triada to the stream and walk to the sea. These houses are the first to meet right before Livari main beach.

The tiny beach has blue waters and fine pebbles, but unfortunately its beauty is overshadowed by Atherinolakkos Power Station. The sea, however, is very clean, and the smoke is transported from the factory to the point only when the west wind blows.
