Papaloukas

Southwest of the Roman theater of Lefki, the two beautiful beaches of Papaloukas are formed, Ano Papaloukas (upper) and Kato Papaloukas (lower). The beaches are amazing, with fine sand and crystal blue waters. They are separated by a distinctive oblong rock with a whitish color.

The name is Papaloukas is taken after a local plant with yellow flowers (Cistanche phelypaea) that comes out from the sand.
