Trail Tripiti - Leprias - Katarti 
The route starts at the beautiful beach of Tripiti, where the Gorge of Agios Savvas and the dirt roads from Vassiliki and Lendas end. It follows the wild coastline and reaches the secluded beach of Katarti after approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. We initially head east from Tripiti and ascend towards Kalokambos, an extensive level area. Along several sections of the trail, we walk parallel to the deep blue sea.
The area of Kalokambos is also of particular archaeological interest, as a Minoan tholos tomb has been discovered here, while the important Minoan settlement of Tripiti lies on the nearby hill of Adami Korfali. These antiquities demonstrate that organised human communities had settled along the rugged coast of the Asterousia Mountains as early as the 3rd millennium BC.
Along the way, we can see several rocky beaches below us. Shortly after the midpoint of the route, we encounter a distinctive large hole in the ground. From this point, we can follow a rather steep descent to reach Leprias beach.
If we continue east from the hole, we encounter the large landslide above Leprias. The ground appears dangerous and unstable, but it can be crossed with great care when conditions permit, bringing us above Katarti beach. Alternatively, we can avoid the landslide by climbing higher up the mountainside and passing above it. From there, we descend into the bed of the small gorge that ends at the beautiful beach.
