Bogazi beach is formed in an isolated area on the borders of the community of Sisses in the province of Mylopotamos in the Talea Range, east of the German outpost of Pyrgos peak.
Access is almost exclusively by boat, as the descent from adjacent dirt roads is very difficult. For this reason, it remains unknown.
In Bogazi ends a stream with plane trees that flows all year round. The beach has an eastern orientation and in combination with the impressive rocks to the north, makes it one of the few beaches on the northern front of Rethymnon without waves.
