Stavromenos Beach lies just about 1 kilometer east of Sfakaki Beach and forms a natural continuation of the long coastline of Rethymno Bay.
Sfakaki Beach is located right after Pigianos Kampos and forms part of the long stretch of Rethymno Bay and is renowned for its golden fine sand.
Between the settlements of Tsigounas and Plateies Peramatos we meet one of the most hidden and lesser-known beaches, the secluded beach of Alatsocharakas.
The beaches formed here are surrounded by high cliffs with caves and soft rocks, which protect bathers from prying eyes. The seabed in some places is quite rocky, while the sea is rarely rough.
Sykiés Beach is located in a remote area west of Kavousi in Ierapetra, and just north of Agriomandra Beach. Above the beach stand a few fig trees, which reveal the presence of moisture in the ground.
Malavra is located 26km east of Agios Nikolaos and east of Tholos Beach. It is known for its abundant freshwater springs, which cloud the sea and, according to one version, gave Tholos its name.
