A few meters west of Geropotamos beach and where the territory of the village Prinos begins, we find the amazing natural arch of Kamarola and next to it a stunning beach with sand, fine pebbles and crystal clear deep blue waters.
A few meters east of the small beach Koutalas and on the rocky coastline of Drapanos we meet one of the many caves in the area of Kokkino Chorio. It is the imposing cave of Koutalas, known to some as Nerospilia (Water Cave), even though Nerospilia is located in another nearby location.
Sfakos is located between Menies and Kolymbari. It is one of the most isolated beaches in Crete, as access from land is possible, but very difficult. Almost exclusively, most people come to it by boat from nearby Kolymbari or other beaches near Chania.
The beach Achimada is formed in a semi-circular bay with cliffs and orange rocks that are composed of many places of deposits of fossilized bivalves (shells) and take imposing forms.
On the eastern side of Vroulia Bay, between the magnificent Kedrodasos and the church of Agios Ioannis, near the cape of Krios, a series of small secluded beaches are formed where you will most likely be isolated. However, you should be aware that there are no trees and no natural shade.
Vala beach is located on the southeastern slopes of the Asterousia Mountains in a purely Cretan setting, with inaccessible gorges, bare rocks, steep cliffs and beautiful secluded beaches.
Vraskos beach is located in a secluded location at the exit of a small gorge between Koutalis and Almyrida, in the vicinity of Kokkinos Chorio. The wider area is full of fantastic caves.
The beach of Foudana is located next to the coastal settlement of Maridaki and belongs to the community of Ahentria Monofatsiou. It is formed in a steep area at the eastern base of Cape Kerkellos and has pebbles, quite a rocky bottom and very clear waters
