On the eastern side of Vroulia bay, between the magnificent Kedrodasos and the church of Agios Ioannis, near the cape of Krios, a series of small secluded beaches are formed where you will most likely be isolated. However, you should be aware that there are no trees and no natural shade.
This area is located on the E4 path that connects Paleochora with Elafonisi and can also be reached via a dirt road from the Paleochora area to the church of Agios Ioannis (Saint John).
The first long beach you encounter coming from Kedrodasos is the sandy Pahia Ammoutsa, with turquoise waters, while the next one is located in the area of Kambi Lakkos, at the exit of a small ravine. Finally, below the church of Agios Ioannis is the small Kokkino Ammoutsaki.
