The Byzantine church of Panagia at Alagni has a particular cruciform architecture with a dome, while an arcosolium (Venetian tomb) is attached to its exterior wall. It dates back to the 13th century and was renovated in the 19th century. Inside it does not have frescoes, although it is believed that it was once adorned.

The church celebrates on September 8, as it is dedicated to the Nativity of Mary.
