Havania beach

500m north of the legendary Mirabelo hotel you will find the tranquil beach of Havani, where a well organized municipal beach operates. In Havania there are options for accommodation and food. On the beach you will find a lifeguard and water sports. According to reports, during the years of Ottoman rule there was a small port and its remnants are still visible in the sea.

Peristeres beach

The beach is actually divided into two large beaches and is secluded, since access is not as easy as the nearby beaches of Korakas and Polirizos. On the beach there are no facilities, just a small tavern (and another one on the west part of the beach).

Madés beach

Madé (or Madés) is a small coastal village located near Ligaria, 20km northwest of Heraklion and 1.5km east of Ligaria beach. It is located near the northernmost edge of the Gulf of Heraklion, which called Cape Bourouni of Rogdia. To get this far from Heraklion, drive in the highway to Chania and take the exit of Ligaria. Just after 1.5km you will see a sign for Madé.

Tholos beach

Tholos is located 26km east of Agios Nikolaos and 4km north of the village Kavousi. Locals might also call it Kavoussi beach, due to the nearby village. The beach is formed at the exit of a fertile valley, surrounded by huge olive groves and vine groves. The region has been touristically developed, but very mildly, being ideal for a relaxing holiday.

Sidonia beach

The area has warm climate, which favors the cultivation of olive trees, subtropical fruits such as bananas, or early outdoor vegetables. The area of Psari Forada has experienced a mild tourist development in recent years and now is a traditional tranquil place, perfect for quiet holidays at a very leisurely pace.

Tripiti beach in Gavdos

The beach of Tripiti is located 7km south of Karave harbor and is the southernmost point of Gavdos and Europe. The eastern part of the beach is sandy, while the part close to the "tip" of Gavdos has large stones and pebbles.

Lakki beach

Lakki is located 81km southeast of Chania and 48km southwest of Rethymno city. It’s located close to Fragokastelo, just 2km eastern, near the village Skaloti. A small stream that runs in the Gorge of Sfaggofarago empties to the west of Lakki. The beach is accessed by driving in the road that starts from Skaloti.

Skepasti beaches

he beaches of Skepasti are located about 27km east of Rethymnon and 2km east of the homonym village Skepasti, in the province of Milopotamos. The beaches are mainly accessed through bad dirt tracks that starts from the village. Skepasti beaches are all open to the north winds, with pebbles and deep water.
