Paliomantra is located in the area of Aginara, east of Platia Peramata and before we reach the area of Tsigounas. It belongs to the territory of the village Antiskari and is accessible by dirt road.
Here two main bays are formed with coarse sand and a fairly rocky bottom, ideal for fishing. The first beach, also known as Vagies, from the house with the many palm trees (vagies) is also the most easily and directly accessible by a relatively passable dirt road. If you are lucky, you can find shade under the rocks or the few tamarisks.
The next beach, near cape Trachili is wilder and difficult to access, although in recent years a few houses have been built nearby. You will have to leave your car higher up compared to Vagies, but the beach is usually empty. Here too, you’ll find a handful of tamarisks offering some shade.
