Avvakospilio Cave at Koudoumas 
West of Koudoumas Monastery in Asterousia Range lies Avvakospilio, a cavernous church where, according to tradition, the local saint Kosmas lived as a hermit during the 7th century and where his body was buried. In order to reach the place you should walk 15-20' on an amazing seaside trail starting from Koudoumas beach. In order to reach Koudoumas, you have to drive a long dirt track starting from the village Sternes.
