Kroussonas

At the main square of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity) in the village Kroussonas we meet the Museum of Greek folk music and musical instruments with the characteristic name "THIRATHEN" ("thirathen pedia" was the classical education in Byzantine Era). It is located in a renovated traditional house.

One of the purposes of the museum is the local society's acquaintance mainly with Cretan and Greek traditional music, but also the neighboring countries. An additional goal is the creation of the center for research and documentation of our musical tradition.
