Roussospasma beach
Roussospasma beach, Rousso Spasma or Rousso Skisma, is the easternmost beach of Xerokampos area. It can be accessed by walking 15' on the path that starts from Krinakia beach and heads east towards Kato Zakros.
Characteristic of the area are the colorful rocks, of which the reddish layer that gives the beach its name stands out (roussos = red).
The beach is formed in the mouth of a narrow bay and is very well protected from the wind, but also from prying eyes.
