Aquaworld Aquarium has been operating since 1995 by John McLaren and is located very close to the main road of Hersonissos.

The Museum of Medicine is housed in the Department of Medicine, University of Crete in Heraklion. Its collection consists of historical medical books, old medical and surgical instruments and equipment, pharmaceutical items with historical significance and photographs.

The Museum of Cretan Wild Plants - Herbarium Jacques Zaffran constitutes one of the most important projects of the Institute of Theology and Ecology at the Orthodox Academy of Crete.

This place is owned by 2 fantastic donkey lovers originating from England. They are taking care for all abandoned donkeys in the whole area. You can visit them the whole year and hug with the donkeys or even take a ride on the small ones. If you would like to visit Crete and do some charity work this is a perfect chance.

The Zakros’ Natural History Museum is located at the Polykentro building, lying along the main road that crosses Epanos Zakros village. The Museum is dedicated to the natural environment of the Park. The flora, fauna, and geology of the area is presented through small dioramas (reconstructions of ecosystems), staffed animals, posters and displays of rocks and fossils.

The mosque of Mastabas, with the characteristic 9-dome architecture, is an authentic monument of Rethymnon and has been conceded to GNHM following a decision of the Ministry of Culture. Upon completion of restoration and of the relevant museological study, it will operate as a Museum of Palaeontology, being annex of Goulandris National History museum in Crete.

The Chemistry Museum of Chania is a representation of the first Chemical Laboratory of Greece that was founded in Chania and is housed on the 2nd floor of General Chemical Laboratory of Chania.

The Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology studies, highlights and presents to the Greek and foreign visitors the technology of ancient Greeks, an extremely important but relatively unknown aspect of the ancient Greek culture. In a Venetian building, the Palazzo d’ Ittar in the center of Heraklion guests have the unique opportunity to explore the exhibition "Hi-Tech Inventions of Ancient Greeks".

Sci·sense was founded in 2022 and is located in the center of Chania, near Eleftherias Square (Dikastiria). More than 100 interactive physics experiments are divided into seven "routes" – seven different visits, spatially divided based on four of our senses.
