Cape Peristerionas is located 74 km southeast of Heraklion and 6 km east of the seaside settlement of Keratokambos and within the boundaries of the village Vachos , province Viannos. It constitutes the natural boundary of the areas of Arvi and Keratokambos, exactly in the middle of their distance.
On the western side of Peristerionas, a relatively long beach is formed that is never crowded and in some places has natural shade. It has fine sand and some rocks. Another beautiful beach is formed to the east of the cape.
Access to both of these beaches is via dirt roads that pass next to the many greenhouses of the settlement of Xerokambos.
