The small beach of Riakaki is formed 4 km east of Mochlos, Sitia, in the location of Linares, and administratively belongs to the community of Myrsini, province Sitia. Nearby is the Venetian Tower of Cornaro.
Access to the beach is via a steep and unpaved path from the main road, along which many luxury homes have been built in recent years. Due to its isolation, it is almost certain that you will be alone here.
The beach is pebbled and often has waves, which makes swimming difficult. However, the stunning view of the cliffs of Kalavros is impressive. Access to the beach on a day without waves is one of the best options for swimming in the Mochlos area.
