Το Φαράγγι Κατσουνάκι βρίσκεται στην ξηροθερμική Ανατολική Κρήτη, ανατολικά του Ξηρόκαμπου. Ο ποταμός που περνάει μέσα από το φαράγγι καταλήγει στην παραλία Ποταμός του Ξερόκαμπου, δίπλα στην πανέμορφη αμμουδιά της Αλώνας. Η πεζοπορία μέσα στο φαράγγι είναι εύκολη και το τοπίο με τα ψηλά τοιχώματα πολύ άγριο. Μπορείτε να το περπατήσετε ανάποδα από την Αλώνα και να επιστρέψετε εκεί.
