The Lighthouse of Sitia, also known as Exo Fanari, is located on the cape Vamvakia north of Sitia airport. It belongs to the network of lighthouses built by the French Lighthouse Company at the end of the 19th century throughout Crete and was put into operation in 1892.

In the wild Asterousia Mountains and on the dirt road that leads from Kapetaniana to Tripiti we meet the old chapel of Panagia Zoodochos Pigi (Life-Giving Spring). The church was the central temple of a small monastery of the 13th century that developed very close to a small water source.
A very interesting geological attraction is the rocks that resemble giant anthropomorphic figures in the Asterousia range. These figures, like marble gods that were worshiped in antiquity, even today dominate a ridge north of the village Paranymfi.
Η παραλία Φουντάνα βρίσκεται δίπλα στον παραλιακό οικισμό Μαριδάκι και ανήκει στην κοινότητα του Αχεντριά Μονοφατσίου. Σχηματίζεται σε απόκρημνη περιοχή στην ανατολική βάση του ακρωτηρίου Κέρκελλος και έχει βότσαλα, αρκετά βραχώδη βυθό και πολύ καθαρά νερά.
The church of Agios Georgios (Saint George) is located in the cemetery of the village Mourne in the province of Agios Vasilios. From the style of its frescoes, it dates back to the beginning of the 14th century, even though no founding inscription has been preserved.
Στα άγρια Αστερούσια Όρη και πάνω στο χωματόδρομο που οδηγεί από τα Καπετανιανά στην Τρυπητή συναντάμε το παλιό ξωκλήσι της Ζωοδόχου Πηγής. Ο ναός αποτέλεσε το καθολικό μικρής μονής του 13ου αιώνα που αναπτύχθηκε πολύ κοντά σε μικρή πηγή νερού.
