Lower Gorge (Kato Farangi) is located in the region of the village Mythi in the province Ierapetra. It is the last rocky part of the stream that runs through the river Myrtos or Kriopotamos.
The Lighthouse of Sitia, also known as Exo Fanari, is located on the cape Vamvakia north of Sitia airport. It belongs to the network of lighthouses built by the French Lighthouse Company at the end of the 19th century throughout Crete and was put into operation in 1892.

In the wild Asterousia Mountains and on the dirt road that leads from Kapetaniana to Tripiti we meet the old chapel of Panagia Zoodochos Pigi (Life-Giving Spring). The church was the central temple of a small monastery of the 13th century that developed very close to a small water source.
A very interesting geological attraction is the rocks that resemble giant anthropomorphic figures in the Asterousia range. These figures, like marble gods that were worshiped in antiquity, even today dominate a ridge north of the village Paranymfi.

The beach of Pachia Ammos in the position Afrathias (or Afratias) is formed between the airport of Tymbaki and the seaside settlement Kalamaki. Although it is actually the longest beach in Mesara, it is also the less busy.
The church of Panagia Panokastriani is located above Kastri, province Mylopotamos, where the ruined fortress of Pano Kasteli was built. Kastri was the seat and base of the strongest Christian family during the Venetian occupation, Kallergis, whose coats of arms are located in the arch of the sanctuary.
