Between the settlements of Tsigounas and Plateies Peramatos we meet one of the most hidden and lesser-known beaches, the secluded beach of Alatsocharakas.

Fylakes beach is located in Agia Pelagia. It is a tiny bay with fine sand and green shallow waters, protected by the high and verdant cliffs of Souda.

Plisimo is located east of the settlement of Treis Ekklisies on the southern steep slopes of Asterousia, near the point where the inaccessible gorge of Mesosfini empties.

Paliomantra is located in the area of Aginara, east of Platia Peramata and before we reach the area of Tsigounas. It belongs to the territory of the village Antiskari and is accessible by dirt road.

Theseus Beach is located near Cape Bourouni or Akros in the area of village Achlada, 24 km west of the city of Heraklion and takes its name from the homonymous private settlement of Theseus Village.

Cape Peristerionas is located 74 km southeast of Heraklion and 6 km east of the seaside settlement of Keratokampos and within the boundaries of the village of Vachos.

Kokkines Plakes is a remote and striking stretch of coastline, where vivid red and purple rocks meet the deep blue of the sea. Its wild beauty and geological diversity make it a unique destination for exploration and quiet swimming.

The beaches formed here are surrounded by high cliffs with caves and soft rocks, which protect bathers from prying eyes. The seabed in some places is quite rocky, while the sea is rarely rough.
