On the road leading from Galipe to Smari we meet the single-arched bridge of Galifa, which bridges River Galifianos. The arch was built in 1900 to serve the needs of the residents, mainly from Galifa.

Δυτικά από τις Δαφνές και πολύ κοντά στον Άγιο Ιωάννη τον Πρόδρομο βρίσκουμε την παλιά κρήνη στην περιοχή Καβούσι. Η κρήνη στο Καβούσι είναι από τις πιο όμορφες ολόκληρης της επαρχίας και αρκετά μεγάλη. Είναι κτισμένη από μαλακό λευκό ασβεστόλιθο με πελεκημένες πέτρες και στην κορφή της φέρει το σύμβολο του σταυρού. Διέθετε και πλύστρες ενώ πέρα από την μπροστινή βρύση που είχε, διέθετε και πλευρική ξεχειλίστρα για το νερό που περίσσευε.

One of the most beautiful flowers that we meet in Crete is the Paeonia Clusii. This is one of the 33 species of peonies on the planet and is endemic to Crete and Karpathos isle. It belongs to the family Ranidae and is also known as the Cretan Peony. It is found only at high altitudes, especially in the mountains of Dikti and the White Mountains. The impressive flower of peony has white or pinkish purple color and only a few people have seen it.
Northwest of the village Damania, on the road that heads to Arkadi village (Monofatsi province) we meet the hill of Kefala. Kefala has unique views to Damania and the beautiful dam-lake, the fertile plain of the village and other villages of Monofatsi. The whole area in the upper part of the hill is full of the remains of the village that was there centuries ago and is now completely deserted.
At position Onythe we meet the ruins of an ancient settlement that has been identified as the ancient town Fallanes or Osmida. At this location there are traces of an early Christian basilica, which was excavated by N. Platon in 1947 and has dimensions 31mx15m.
At the southwest edge of Mikronissi islet with the lighthouse of Agii Pantes, opposite Agios Nikolaos city, just at the point where there is a small pier for the boats, we meet the beach of the island. The beach is located in an ancient carvied bay and there is access through a stone staircase.
