Монастырь Арсаниу расположен в 12 км от города Ретимно, рядом со старой национальной дорогой. Монастырь окружают оливковые поля, кипарисовые деревья и прекрасные виды.
In Omalos there is nothing, except from the small chapel dedicated to the Holly Spirit. The plateau is only used by local shepherds during the summer months. On every winter the plateau is dressed in white, making the landscape very beautiful. When the snow melts in the center of the plateau a small lake is formed, which is still there till early summer.
Το φρούριο της Βόιλας βρίσκεται 1km μακρυά από το χωριό του Χανδρά, στο πανέμορφο οροπέδιο της Ζήρου. Η Βόιλα ήταν ένα μικρό μεσαιωνικό χωριό, το οποίο έχει ερειπωθεί σήμερα, όπως πολλά χωριά στην περιοχή.
Το φαράγγι του Κουδουμά ή Κόφινα ξεκινάει σε υψόμετρο περίπου 1000μ κοντά στη βάση της ψηλότερης κορυφής των Αστερουσίων, του Κόφινα και καταλήγει στην παραλία της Μονής Κουδουμά. Το αρχικό τμήμα του φαραγγιού απίστευτης ομορφιάς, που οι ντόπιοι ονομάζουν Καταρράκτη ή Καιάδα, είναι τεχνικό με 8 καταβάσεις, με τη μεγαλύτερη στα 90 μέτρα.
Το Μουσείο Παραδοσιακής Ζωής και Λαϊκού Πολιτισμού Κρήτης Λυχνοστάτης κτίστηκε από τον ιατρό και συλλέκτη Γιώργο Μαρκάκη την περίοδο 1986-1992. Στην κατασκευή του χρησιμοποιήθηκαν μόνο πρωτογενή υλικά (πέτρα-ξύλο-πηλός) και αποφεύχθηκε η χρήση μηχανικών μέσων.

Priniatikos Pirgos is a small peninsula that separates the two beaches of Agios Panteleimon Karavostasis upon which an important Minoan settlement has been identified. The settlement has been mapped by the American and Irish Archaeological School. It was inhabited from the Minoan till the Ottoman Era and was highly depended on its harbor. Important findings are kilns for ceramics production.
