At position Patelia, about 1 km NW of Sitanos we meet the large cave of Oxo Latsidi, formed in Jurassic limestone. It was originally accessible for 50m. It was later studied by Paul Faure and mapped by Eleftherios Platakis and Ioannis Tsifetakis, who found a long tunnel 360m long. After the entrance we meet a room (34m x 16m) and a chamber on the right (32m). On the left, for 330m extends the tunnel with a width of 2-8 m and a height from 0.5m-1.5m. Recent surveys give the cave a longer length of up to 1.000 m. The different flows of water give the impression that it was once an underground riverbed. Generally the decoration is poor.
The name of the gorge Agiofaraggo means “Saints’ gorge” and indicates that it was used by many hermits who stayed here because of the isolation of the area. According to a legend, three hundred hermits lived here in absolute isolation from each other. They met only once a year at “Goumenospilio” and then they were aware of those who had died the previous year.

Το σεμπίλι της πλατείας Κορνάρου, όπου σήμερα στεγάζει δημοτικό καφενείο, κτίστηκε το 1776 από τον Χατζή Ιμπραχίμ Αγά που αφιέρωσε όλη του την περιουσία για τη συντήρησή της. Είναι ένα πολυγωνικό κτίριο με αψιδωτά παράθυρα. Κάτω από κάθε παράθυρο υπήρχε μια βρύση και μια λίθινη γούρνα.

Ο Βόθωνας ή Λακούδια είναι ένα πολύ μικρό οροπέδιο που βρίσκεται 40km νοτιοανατολικά των Χανίων, κοντά στο χωριό Βαφές. Η πρόσβαση γίνεται μέσω του χωριού Βαφές, μέσω βατού χωματόδρομου. Το τοπίο των γύρω βουνών είναι εκπληκτικό, με τα επιβλητικά Λευκά Όρη στο φόντο και τις ακτές της Γεωργιούπολης στα βόρεια.

Μισή ώρα πάνω από τον αρχαιολογικό χώρο της Λισσού σε ένα εντελώς κρυφό σημείο στην περιοχή Λύχνου Λάκκοι βρίσκεται ένα μικρό και πολύ όμορφο φαράγγι.
