Археологическая коллекция Малевизи представлена более 500 старинных объектов, датируемых всеми эпохами критской античности. Большая часть выставки представлена экспонатами из коллекции Метаксас, поддерживаемой Николаосом Метаксосом с 1959 по 1997.
The Gorge Maliaris starts near the village Peronides, passes west of the village Souvlos (from where a trail starts), merges with Hristopatimata gorge and ends at the beach Tzavlidon Vlyhada.
The Sinai dependency of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity) is located between Perivolia and Mournies suburbs of Chania and is one of the 4 independent monasteries of Sinai Saint Catherine Monastery in Crete. The Monastery of the Holy Trinity was founded during the Second Byzantine Period (before 1204) and had a rural character, as evidenced by the monastery (olive mill, warehouse for products, etc).
The tower of Mouzouras is a three storeydefensive building of the Venetian Era or more likely of the early Ottoman period, which is reserved in a very good condition. The tower was built with the same architecture with the towers at the corners of the fortification walls of Gouverneto monastery.
Λίγα μέτρα ανατολικά του Φαραγγιού του Τσούτσουρα ανοίγεται σαν μία στενή μαχαιριά στο μέτωπο της γης το μικρότερο, αλλά εξίσου εντυπωσιακό φαράγγι της Τρούλας. Είναι εξίσου εντυπωσιακό με πολλούς και όμορφους καταρράκτες στο διάβα του που ο μεγαλύτερος έχει ύψος 15 μέτρων ενώ ακολουθούν ακόμα 15 μικρότεροι.
Ο Ατζιγανόσπηλιος βρίσκεται σε κοντινή απόσταση από το χωριό Αδριανός (10 λεπτά), στη θέση Νοτικό Χλαμπούτι στις Κουκίστρες. Απέχει 25km περίπου από τον Άγιο Νικόλαο και ανήκει στην κοινότητα των Ζενίων, την οποία συναντούμε κατά την άνοδο μας προς το Οροπέδιο Λασιθίου από την Νεάπολη.
At the road connecting Piskokefalo and Sitia we meet the remains of an excavated two-storey Minoan mansion. We can still discern the remnants of rooms, stairs and the protective boulders coming from the neighbouring river of Pantelopotamos or the sea.
