The fortress of Rokka is built on the steep hill of Trouli above the village of Rokka in the province of Kissamos. It is a fortress of the Byzantine period that was probably built after the liberation of Crete by Nicephorus Phocas in 961 at the site of a Roman fort.
At the mountainous forested village of Agios Ioannis, Sfakia district, we meet the small church of Panagia that celebrates the day of the Assumption, on August 15. It is located on the outskirts of the large forest of St. John and is directly opposite the church of St. John, which gives its name to the village.
Το Φαραγγούλι των Βοριζίων βρίσκεται στον Ψηλορείτη, στην περιφέρεια του χωριού Βορίζια. Αποτελεί ένα από τα τρία παράλληλα φαράγγια της περιοχής, με πιο γνωστό από όλα το μεγάλο Βοριζανό Φαράγγι. Το μικρότερο και πιο άγνωστο είναι το Φαραγγούλι που ξεκινά μέσα ακριβώς από τα σπίτια του χωριού και ανηφορίζει απότομα πάνω.
Parasfougario beach is located in the area of Achlada, province Malevizi, about 22 km northwest of Heraklion. It is located on a steep point between the popular beaches of Lygaria and Agia Pelagia.

Το μικρό φαράγγι του Πετεινού ή Φαράγγι Ανάβρυτα σχηματίζεται βορειοδυτικά του χωριού Λιθίνες της επαρχίας Σητείας. Είναι τεχνικό, δηλαδή η διάσχισή του απαιτεί τη χρήση εξοπλισμού canyoning, καθώς στην πορεία του σχηματίζει περίπου 12 καταρράκτες.
Ο ναός του Αγίου Γεωργίου βρίσκεται κοντά στα αρχαία λουτρά της αρχαίας Μήθυμνας. Ο ναός είναι μονόχωρος καμαροσκέπαστος με το ιερό προς το νότο και κτίστηκε τον 9ο αιώνα στη θέση Ρωμαϊκού ναού, πιθανόν της Αρτέμιδος. Αρχικά αναφέρεται ως αφιερωμένος στον Άγιο Στέφανο και στην συνέχεια στον Άγιο Γεώργιο.
