Λίγο έξω από το πανέμορφο χωριό Πανασός Ηρακλείου συναντάμε το ξωκκλήσι του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Ριγολόγου. Στον Άη Γιάννη μας οδηγεί ένας πρόχειρος χωματόδρομος διασχίζοντας μια περιοχή με αρχαίες ελιές και περίεργα βράχια γεμάτα λαξεύματα και σκαλίσματα από την αρχαιότητα.
The fortress of Rokka is built on the steep hill of Trouli above the village of Rokka in the province of Kissamos. It is a fortress of the Byzantine period that was probably built after the liberation of Crete by Nicephorus Phocas in 961 at the site of a Roman fort.
At the mountainous forested village of Agios Ioannis, Sfakia district, we meet the small church of Panagia that celebrates the day of the Assumption, on August 15. Το Φαραγγούλι των Βοριζίων βρίσκεται στον Ψηλορείτη, στην περιφέρεια του χωριού Βορίζια. Αποτελεί ένα από τα τρία παράλληλα φαράγγια της περιοχής, με πιο γνωστό από όλα το μεγάλο Βοριζανό Φαράγγι. Το μικρότερο και πιο άγνωστο είναι το Φαραγγούλι που ξεκινά μέσα ακριβώς από τα σπίτια του χωριού και ανηφορίζει απότομα πάνω.
