The deserted village of Kanavas, province Kissamos, is located on the eastern slope of the hill of Profitis Ilias and is accessible through a dirt road starting from the village Zachariana. Next to the bed of the river passing below the settlement is the church of Saint George, which bears frescoes.
The Gorge of Pastrikos is a small gorge formed on the north side of Asterousia, in the wider area of the village Panagia. It is technical, i.e. it requires special equipment for canyoning. It starts from a small plateau where there is a temple dedicated to Saint Cyril.
The church of Saint George of Grotta is a small one-storey church that stands in a narrow street in the old town of Rethymnon and dates back to the 16th century. The identification of the present church with the homonymous temple of the Venetian archives is not certain, as there were three churches dedicated to Saint George in the city.
Heromilia beach is located in the area of Agia Triada (also known as Tso) in Sitia province, just 2km east of Atherinolakkos Power Station. It is the westernmost beach of the beaches of Livari.
Ο ναός της Κοίμησης της Θεοτόκου ή Πάνω Παναγιά βρίσκεται στο Βορειοανατολικό τμήμα του κάστρου Belvedere και φέρει πολύ κατεστραμμένο τοιχογραφικό διάκοσμο, φιλοτεχνημένο το 1467 από τον αυτοαποκαλούμενο «ταπεινό ζωγράφο» Γεώργιο Πελέγρη. Ο ζωγράφος μάλλον ταυτίζεται με τον ομώνυμο αγιογράφο που εργάζεται την περίοδο 1456-1487 στο Χάνδακα.
Ο ναός της Αγίας Αναστασίας βρίσκεται στο νοτιοδυτικό τμήμα του κάστρου Belvedere και κατασκευάστηκε σύμφωνα με τον Gerola πάνω στα ερείπια δύο αρχαίων δεξαμενών. Λόγω του μικρού μεγέθους του, το αποσπασματικά σωζόμενο εικονογραφικό πρόγραμμα, το οποίο χρονολογείται στα μέσα του 14ου αιώνα, φέρει ελάχιστες παραστάσεις
Ο ναός του Αγίου Αθανασίου βρίσκεται λίγο έξω από το Κεφάλι των Εννιά Χωριών της επαρχίας Κισάμου. Ο μονόχωρος καμαροσκέπαστος ναός περιβάλεται από όμορφο πάρκο με πεύκα και εσωτερικά φέρει ενισχυτικό σφενδόνιο.
