Between the villages Episkopi and Sgourokefali of Pediada province we meet a beautiful small park with pine trees, in the middle of which there is the old temple of the Lord Christ. The small single-nave church functioned as the temple of a small monastery that was a dependency of the Monastery at Agarathos.

Στο κοιμητήριο του χωριού Σταμνοί υπάρχει ο δίκλιτος ναός του Αγίου Βλασίου. Διακρίνονται δύο κατασκευαστικές φάσεις. Το βόρειο κλίτος, που διατηρεί ίχνη τοιχογραφιών, ανήκει στην περίοδο της Ενετοκρατίας, ενώ το νότιο κλίτος και η δυτική όψη διαμορφώθηκαν τον 19ο αιώνα.
Σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση στον αρχαίο οικισμό Βροντάς, στην τοποθεσία Ξεράμπελα, βρίσκεται η παλιά μονή της Αγίας Παρασκευής, πάνω από την πηγή Βρύση. Ακόμη διακρίνονται τα υπολείμματα των κελιών της μονής, ενώ δίπλα στο ναό υπάρχει μια πανάρχαια ελιά.
At the point where the camping site of Church was housed near village Meronas, in an amazing scenery with huge oak trees, there is the church of Saint Nicholas and a small spring with fresh water. The nave bears exquisite frescoes of the 16th century, with the austere style of the era. Note the female figures of St. Irene and St. Catherine, which are rarely met insite the "male-dominated" sanctuary.

One of the very easily and really small shelters that are open to people is located in the city of Chania. It is located just behind the church of St. Spyridon and has two entrances like most. The shelter of Saint Spyridon is only a few meters deep. No light is needed as the gallery is quite short. The shelter was built at the site of a former cave, the entrance of which is blocked by boulders.
After following the road that leads from Mourtzana to the deserted settlement of millers, Mousses, we pass by the former Monastery of Christ. The monastery is located on the western side of the valley of the Mousses and retains the church which is built on the basis of an age-old cypress tree. The temple dates back to the Venetian and berars murals. The Monastery of Christ the Savior is deserted since 1864 and was a dependency of the Holy Sepulchre.
