The Golden Beach (greek: Hrissi Akti) is located 2.5km west of Chania and a few meters east of Agii Apostoli. It actually consists of two sandy beaches separated by a small hill. The west cove is the main Golden Beach and the east one is called Aptera Beach.
The beach that stretches in front of the resort is a long bay with beautiful turquoise waters and coarse white sand. Here you will find all the services of a very well organized beach like umbrellas, snack bars, showers, changing rooms, water sports, scuba diving centre, great hotels, restaurants, horse riding centre etc.
Ο Πλακιάς είναι ένα δημοφιλές τουριστικό θέρετρο, 36 χλμ νότια του Ρεθύμνου, καιείναι χτισμένο στην έξοδο μιας εύφορης πεδιάδας, περιτριγυρισμένος από ψηλά βουνά και πυκνούς ελαιώνες. Δίπλα στο Πλακιά εκβάλει ο ποταμός Κοτσυφός.
Sissi (or Sisi) is located 26km west of Agios Nikolaos and 41km east of Heraklion, in close proximity to Malia. It is a peaceful traditional village with narrow streets and beautiful taverns. Its trademark is the harbor with the clean and calm waters.
The Gorge of Mylonas or Agios Ioannis is located 18km east of Ierapetra. It starts near the village Agios Ioannis, at an altitude of 500m, and ends at the beach of Kakia Skala.
Dia is an uninhabited island with 5 km maximum length and 3 km maximum width surrounded by small rocky inlets. It is located 6 miles north of Heraklion. It is one of NATURA's protected areas due to its status as a biotope for endemic plants and for plants with low dispersal within the Southern Aegean.
Το φαράγγι της Ίμπρου ή Ίμβρου βρίσκεται κοντά στη Χώρα Σφακίων και είναι το τρίτο δημοφιλέστερο φαράγγι της Κρήτης μετά της Σαμαριάς και της Αγίας Ειρήνης. Το τοπίο είναι πανέμορφο και η ευκολία στην κατάβαση καθιστά την κάθοδο της Ίμβρου ιδανική για οικογένειες με παιδιά. Το μήκος του φαραγγιού είναι 11 χιλιόμετρα και η πορεία διαρκεί 2-3 ώρες.
Το Βαθύ είναι μια εκπληκτική παραλία που βρίσκεται 79 χλμ νοτιοδυτικά του Ηρακλείου και και 17 χλμ του χωριού Σίβας της Μεσαράς, αντίστοιχα. Πολύ κοντά στο νοτιότερο άκρο της Κρήτης, το Ακρωτήριο Λίθινο, και πολύ μακριά από τα αστικά κέντρα, το Βαθύ αποτελεί έναν ιδανικό προορισμό για όποιον αναζητάει την απόλυτη ηρεμία.
