Το ιδιωτικό μουσείο ανήκει στον Γεώργιο Χατζηδάκη ο οποίος βίωσε με δραματικό τρόπο τη Γερμανική Κατοχή. Με το τέλος του πολέμου ξεκίνησε να μαζεύει με πάθος κάθε απομεινάρι της μάχης για να καταφέρει να διατηρήσει ζωντανές τις μνήμες της περιόδου αυτής.
Tafkoura cave is located at Located at Petradolakia at an altitude 1480 meters, approximately 13 km south of Anogia. It is classified as pothole and its explored depth is 860m and the total length is 6570 meters. It is considered as the largest and deepest cavern of Psiloritis Mount and the 3rd in Greece.
<pΑν και οι παλαιότερες μαρτυρίες για τη μονή Αυγουστιανών μοναχών, ένα από τα πιο σημαντικά μοναστικά καθιδρύματα των βενετών, ανάγονται στο β’ μισό του 16ου αιώνα, εν τούτοις είναι σχεδόν βέβαιο ότι η μονή ιδρύθηκε σε αρκετά πρωιμότερη περίοδο. Σήμερα είναι γνωστό ως Νερατζέ Τζαμί.
Το τέμενος Γιαλί Τζαμισί (τζαμί της θάλασσας) είναι ουσιαστικά το μοναδικό διατηρούμενο τζαμί της πόλης των Χανίων. Κτίστηκε στη θέση προϋπάρχοντος ναού μετά την άλωση της πόλης το 1645 από τους Οθωμανούς, προς τιμήν του πρώτου φρούραρχου Κιουτσούκ (μικρού) Χασάν.
