East of Limnes village, near Agios Ioannis church, we still meet two of the several windmill parks of Crete. Each park still hosts six windmills in a row (twelve overall), with the roofs being collapsed. These mills are of the more usual mill type, that turns only in a certain wind called Axetrocharis (this has a rectangular shape).

In 1903, the independent Cretan State built a single arched bridge called Kamara that collapsed in 2018. It was 10m wide and very inclined. The place can be accessed by a dirt road that stops here. It was very tough to locate the bridge due to the lush vegetation.

In the deserted village Drakiana, near the lake of Agia and in the banks of Keritis river, we meet the small Byzantine church of Saint George (Agios Georgios Methystis) bearing traces of frescoes of the Venetian Era and hosting a grave. The church celebrates on November 3, when the barrels with wine are first opened.

Το Μουσείο Ιατρικής στεγάζεται στο Τμήμα Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης στο Ηράκλειο. Η συλλογή του αποτελείται από ιστορικά ιατρικά βιβλία, ιατρικά και χειρουργικά εργαλεία, παλαιά ιατρικά μηχανήματα, φαρμακευτικά σκεύη ιστορικής σημασίας, καθώς και πλούσιο φωτογραφικό υλικό.

Ο ναός του Αγίου Γεωργίου βρίσκεται στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο της Αγίας Τριάδας, κοντά στη Φαιστό. Είναι μικρός, μονόχωρος, καμαροσκέπαστος ναός με τοιχογραφίες του 13-14ου αιώνα. Δίπλα στο ναό σώζονται τάφοι της Ενετοκρατίας.

Στην έξοδο του μικρού χωριού Καμάρα Κισσάμου που βρίσκεται στην αρχή της χερσονήσου Ροδωπού βρίσκεται καλά κρυμμένος ένας ακόμα θησαυρός της Κρητικής υπαίθρου. Είναι ο ναός της Αγίας Παρασκευής χτισμένος στο πλάι ενός βράχου.

После снятия запрета на засевания плато Лассити венецианцами, они передали землю переселенцам из Пелопоннеса. Пелопоннес был оккупирован турками с XV века.

The Hanialis Fountain, dating from 1709, was originally incorporated into the exterior of the Hanialis mansion on present-day Zografou Street. It now stands beside the exit of Saint George Gate on Ikarou Avenue.
