Οι Λίγκρες είναι μια απέραντη παραλία με χοντρόκοκκη άμμο και φανταστικά βαθειά νερά. Η σχετικά δύσκολη πρόσβαση έχει ευτυχώς κρατήσει την τουριστική ανάπτυξη μακρυά, κάνοντας την μια από τις ομορφότερες και πιο ήρεμες παραλίες στο νησί.

Η Τριόπετρα βρίσκεται περίπου 52 χλμ νότια του Ρεθύμνου και 13 χλμ νοτιοανατολικά του χωριού Ακούμια, στους πρόποδες του όρους Σιδέρωτα και δίπλα σε καταπράσινους ελαιώνες. Είναι επισκέψιμη με αυτοκίνητο μέσω ασφαλτοστρωμένων δρόμων, που περνούν από τα Ακούμια ή από τα Σαχτούρια. Βρίσκεται στο κεντρικό κομμάτι του αχανούς παραλιακού μετώπου που οι ντόπιοι ονομάζουν Ακουμιανή Γιαλιά.

Το Ελαφονήσι βρίσκεται 76km νοτιοδυτικά των Χανίων και 5km νότια της Μονής Χρυσοσκαλίτισας, στο νοτιοδυτικότερο άκρο της Κρήτης. Το Ελαφονήσι είναι μια στενόμακρη xχερσόνησος, η οποία συχνά "σπάει" στην αρχή της, δίνοντας την αίσθηση ξεχωριστού νησιού. Έχει ενταχθεί στις προστατευόμενες περιοχές Natura, καθώς είναι γεμάτο αμμοθίνες με κρινάκια της άμμου και κέδρους.

The Red Beach is located at location Moudia, 68km southwest of Heraklion and just 800m south of Matala famous resort. To get here you have to walk a trail that begins north of the settlement of Matala and crosses the hill north of Matala. There used to be some signs showing the way.

Το φαράγγι της Πατσού ή Αγίου Αντωνίου βρίσκεται 8 km νοτιοδυτικά της Μονής Αρκαδίου, στην καταπράσινη επαρχία Αμαρίου. Τα νερά του φαραγγιού χύνονται πλέον στη λίμνη του φράγματος των Ποταμών.

Stavros (i.e. cross) is a seaside village located 17km northeast of Chania, at the northernmost edge of Cape Akrotiri. One characteristic feature of the area is the very steep camel-shaped mountain rising opposite the harbor of Stavros. The mountain is famous because there were filmed scenes for the film “Zorba the Greek”, where Anthony Quinn danced the famous Sirtaki Dance in 1964. Then Stavros was a small fishing village.

Stefanou beach is located near the position of Seitan Limania (i.e. satan harbours), 22km northeast of Chania and 2km east of the village Chordaki, at the east side of Akrotiri Cape. The wider area is named Seitan Limania, after the wild landscape, the steep cliffs and the strong sea streams which are very dangerous. Here are situated three parallel narrow coves, well protected from the waves.

Georgioupolis is a seaside resort located 38km east of Chania and 21km west of Rethymnon. It is a small coastal town, situated in a lush valley filled with rivers and springs. The town lies on the western edge of a vast long beach with 10km length. Georgioupolis Beach stretches 2km to the east, starting from the river Almiros and ending in Kavros Beach, which is a natural extension of the first beach.
