Η Κόκκινη Άμμος βρίσκεται 68 χλμ νοτιοδυτικά του Ηρακλείου, μόλις 800μ νότια των διάσημων Ματάλων, στην περιοχή Μούδια. Για να έρθετε εδώ θα πρέπει να περπατήσετε ένα μονοπάτι που ξεκινάει βόρεια του οικισμού των Ματάλων και διασχίζει το λόφο που χωρίζει τα Μάταλα με την Κόκκινη Άμμο.
Τα Μάρμαρα ή Διαλισκάρι είναι μια μικρή απομονωμένη παραλία με βοτσαλάκι, που σχηματίζεται στην έξοδο του επιβλητικού φαραγγιού της Αράδαινας στην περιοχή των Σφακίων. Βρίσκεται 85km νότια των Χανίων και 5km δυτικά του Λουτρού. Αποτελεί την παραλία που ξαποσταίνουν κυρίως όσοι περνούν το φαράγγι της Αράδαινας. Ωστόσο, υπάρχουν και πολλοί επισκέπτες που έρχονται με καραβάκι από το Λουτρό.
Elounda is located 10km north of Agios Nikolaos, near the northwest side of the Bay of Mirabello. It is famous for its expensive and luxurious hotels that host celebrities from all over the world. Apart from its glamorous character, Elounda has to offer visitors some of the most beautiful landscapes in Crete. These landscapes are highly dominated by the majestic small beaches of Elounda.
Η Ίτανος βρίσκεται 96 χλμ ανατολικά του Αγίου Νικολάου και 26 χλμ ανατολικά της Σητείας, λίγο βόρεια από το διάσημο φοινικόδασος στο Βάι. Το όνομα της το παίρνει από την αρχαία πόλη της Ιτάνου, της οποίας ερείπια υπάρχουν στην περιοχή. Δίπλα στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο της Ιτάνου υπάρχουν οι τρεις συνεχόμενοι κόλποι της Ερημούπολης
The gorge of Agios Nikolaos, Gafaris or Rouvas is bounded by the peaks of Ambelakia from east and Samari from west. This is the most important gorge of Psiloritis and central Crete and took its name from the homonymous Byzantine church in the south entrance. This is an ecosystem with rich flora and fauna, smaller canyons and interesting geological formations and cliffs of rare beauty.
Der Sandstrand von Rethymno liegt nur 1 km östlich des Stadtzentrums, neben dem venezianischen Hafen entfernt. Es ist ein schöner Strand mit goldenem Sand und kristallklarem seichtem Wasser, sehr gut organisiert und nah an allen Annehmlichkeiten der Stadt.
Marmara (meaning marbles) or Dialiskari beach is a nice secluded small pebbly bay shaped near the exit of the imposing Aradena Gorge, in Sfakia region. It is located 85km south of Chania and 5km west of Loutro. It is the beach where the ramblers of Aradena Gorge rest. However, visitors coming from Loutro do usually visit the place.
Ligaria is located 21km north west of Heraklion and 1km east of Agia Pelagia. The Bay of Ligaria is closed and well protected from the winds blowing in the region. Nearby there are the ruins of the old monastery of Panagia Ligariani, where many monks lived in the past. The region gets its name from the monastery, which in turn gets its name from the beautiful plant “osier” (ligaria in Greek), with the flexible stems and the beautiful flowers, which used to abound in the area.
