The beach Amoudi is located about 1.5km east of Chora Sfakion and 75km south of Chania, in an area with several adjacent pebbly beaches and very close to the nudists' hotel Vritomartis. It is one of the many unknown beaches around Chora Sfakion, and one of the nicest.The area, due to conglomerate rocks, is full of small pebbly beaches, such as Agios Charalambos, Filaki and Plakakia.

Thripti pine wood is located at an altitude of 850m, near Pahia Ammos in Lassithi Prefecture. The scenic village of Thripti, the green landscapes and the unique pine forest in the mountains of Sitia, are some of the things that you will never forget when you come here.

Το μοναστήρι της Αγίας Μονής βρίσκεται περίπου 60km νοτιοανατολικά του Ηρακλείου και 38km δυτικά της Ιεράπετρας, πολύ κοντά στο φαράγγι του Καβουσίου. Η πρόσβαση γίνεται μέσω σύντομου δρόμου που ξεκινάει από την Άνω Βιάννο και διέρχεται μέσα από ένα κατάφυτο τοπίο.

Ο Γιωργάκης σχηματίζεται κάτω από τους απόκρημνους γκρεμούς στα Φέρμα Ιεράπετρας, αλλά υπάρχει πρόσβαση από την ξηρά με σκαλοπάτια που ξεκινούν από κοντινό ξενοδοχείο. Εκτός από την ανεπανάληπτη ομορφιά, εντύπωση προκαλεί ο καταρράκτης ύψους 10 μέτρων που καταλήγει στην παραλία.

The ruins of the largest Minoan cemetery in Crete have been discovered in this area with 252 graves from the early Minoan period, 1800 vases and many artefacts buried with the dead.

Η Τάρρα ήταν αρχαία αυτόνομη πόλη της Κρήτης και επίνειο της Ελύρου. Εδώ υπήρχε ιερό του Ταρραίου Απόλλωνα και θαυμαστό θεραπευτικό κέντρο. Ο μύθος λέει ότι ο ίδιος ο θεός Απόλλων ήρθε στη Σαμαριά για να εξαγνισθεί από τον μεγάλο ιερέα και θεραπευτή Καρμάνορα για το φόνο του Πύθωνα στους Δελφούς.

The long gorge of Maza starts from the village Karydi, merges a smaller gorge that starts from Vrysidi village and ends shortly before the village Adravasti. It is long and has impressive landforms inside, but the path is only suitable for experts in crossing gorges. In the past it was the main route between the settlements of the area.

This part of the E4 European trail starts from Anogia, arrives at ancient Zominthos and finishes at Nida Plateau. Due to being quite long, it is used to split the trail into two parts (Anogia - Zominthos and Zominthos - Nida). The route offers a very good experience of the typical rocky terrain of the Range Psiloritis. During winter, it is very possible to meet snow.
