The Cave Ano Peristeras is one of the many underground rivers of the area of Karidi, Sitia province. It is located at an altitude of 650 meters, the length of routes exceed 5500m and its depth exceeds 220m.
Η Μεγάλη Ελιά Αερινού έχει ανακηρυχθεί από τον Σύνδεσμο Ελαιοκομικών Δήμων Κρήτης (ΣΕΔΗΚ) ως μνημειακή. Βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 700 μ κοντά στον οικισμό Φελεσιανά. Η Ελιά είναι εντυπωσιακή γιατί εκτός από την ηλικία της έχει μια ειδική μορφολογία και αισθητική με πολλές πέτρες ενσωματωμένες στον κορμό της.
The holy monastery of Agii Pantes is located near Loutraki settlement, by Kroussonas. It is a modern convent located at an elevated position overlooking the area.
Above the scenic village of Trialonia, Kissamos district, and a little on the east, we meet the hill of Kefala. Kefala has views to all surrounding areas and hides a truly unknown treasure, a huge archaeological site which has not been protected by the Greek State and is still being destroyed.
The Historical Archive of Crete was established in 1920 in Chania and operated informally until 1928, when it was recognized as a public entity. Since 1943, it is a Public Service and operates as an annex to the General State Archives.
Ο Τάφκος στα Πετραδολάκια, είναι από τα πρώτα βάραθρα που εξερευνήθηκαν από Γάλλους σπηλαιολόγους τη δεκαετία του '70 και για μια δεκαετία θεωρούνταν το βαθύτερο σπήλαιο της Κρήτης. Αυτή τη στιγμή είναι το 2ο βαθύτερο στην περιοχή του Ψηλορείτη, μετά την Ταφκούρα.
Η Ελιά του Καμηλαρίου είναι ανακηρυγμένη από τον Σύνδεσμο Ελαιοκομικών Δήμων Κρήτης (ΣΕΔΗΚ) ως μνημειακή λόγω της αρχαιότητας της και του τεράστιου μεγέθους του κορμού της.
