В Пападиокамбосе археологи раскопали менонитский дом рыболовов и фермеров, занимающий 130 кв. м. Благодаря этой находке, ученые смогли составить очень полное представление о диете минонийцев.
Ο αρχαιολογικός χώρος στο Κεφάλι του Αγίου Αντωνίου ή Κρέμασμα βρίσκεται πάνω στη θάλασσα, ανάμεσα στις παραλίες Μπούφος και Αυλάκι. Από το χώρο αυτό υπάρχει πολύ καλή θέα στο φαράγγι του Σελλιναρίου, που ήταν το πέρασμα προς το Λασίθι.
The small monastery of Hypapante (Presentation of Jesus at the Temple) operated at the site of Champatha (Kissamos province), with spectacular views to the surrounding areas. We still see remnants of monk cells and caves where they lived. Above the church, we see the cavernous chapel of Transfiguration of the Christ, accessed only on foot.
Στο νησί υπάρχουν μερικές μικρές πανέμορφες παραλίες, η μεγαλύτερη από τις οποίες βρίσκεται βόρεια από τον αρχαιολογικό χώρο και έχει άμμο. Ακριβώς κάτω από τον οικισμό (στα νότια) υπάρχει ακόμη μια όμορφη παραλία με βότσαλο. Όλες οι παραλίες της Ψείρας βρίσκονται στη νότια μεριά του νησιού κι έτσι προστατεύονται από τους συνηθισμένους βοριάδες.
Το Μουσικό εργαστήρι Λαβύρινθος ιδρύθηκε το 1982 από τον Ross Daly και από το 2002 στεγάζεται σε ένα υπέροχο παλιό κτίριο στο Χουδέτσι.

What characterizes the village Kissos in the province of Agios Vasilios in Rethymnon, like all the villages located in the root of Kentros mount, are the many water springs. In the central square of the deserted village we meet the beautiful square with the old plane tree. Geroplatanos (Old plane tree) are actually two plane trees close to one another, and one specifically is one of the biggest in Crete and has a really impressive trunk.
