У Мегало Кораси, к северу от деревни Дорис, мы находим маленькую восстановленную церковь Панагеи Корасани, которая раньше служила маленьким монастырем. Ее часовня была посвящена Деве Марии (чей день отмечают 21 ноября). Вокруг Панагеи сохранились следы от монашьих келий и резервуаров для воды.
Η εκκλησία της Παναγίας της Φανερωμένης βρίσκεται σε μια κατάφυτη τοποθεσία της κοινότητας Κερασίων Μαλεβυζίου, στο πλάι του Κερασιανού φαραγγιού (συνέχεια του φαραγγιού του Αγίου Αντωνίου). Η θέα τριγύρω είναι μοναδική.
Οι Δύο Πρίνοι είναι ένα από τα όμορφα ερειπωμένα χωριά της Κρήτης όπου νομίζεις ότι ο χρόνος έχει σταματήσει σε μία άλλη εποχή τόσο αλλιώτικη από τη σημερινή. Το όνομα του χωριού προέρχεται από το δέντρο Πρίνος που είναι γεμάτη η γύρω περιοχή. Βρίσκεται στην περιφέρεια του χωριού Λίμνες στο δήμο Αγίου Νικολάου Λασιθίου και για να πάμε ως εκεί ακολουθούμε από τις Λίμνες το δρόμο που πηγαίνει στον Καλό Λάκκο.
West of the village Voritsi and very close to the monastery of Agios Georgios Kavou a compact rocky massif is formed. In the center of this impressive rock a very beautiful cascade of 25m is formed which locals call Richtra. The waterfall is fed by a nearby spring and has water after heavy rain.
Ψυχή του κέντρου είναι ο εμπνευστής του κος Μανόλης Ροδινός, ο οποίος έχει με κόπο συλλέξει δεκάδες συλλογές από γραμματόσημα, φιγούρες θεάτρου σκιών, μηχανές προβολής κινηματογράφου, φωτογραφικές μηχανές, γραφομηχανές, βιβλία, παιχνίδια, έργα τέχνης, ιστορίες παλιών κατοίκων της περιοχής, κλπ.
On the path that heads from the Amoutsera to the plateau of Katsiveli and peak Pachnes we meet the Rusies. This is a small plateau at an altitude of 2000 meters in the heart of the White Mountains and in the past years it was very important point for the people of the mountain, the Sfakians shepherds. The main reason for this was the cistern that gathered water and the small stone-built accommodation that served as a refuge in emergency times. The Plateau of Russies is located exactly between the peaks of Bournelos and Sternes.
The ruined monastery of the Three Hierarchs is located at one of the most inhospitable areas of Crete, at position Lousoudi of the wild Asterousia Mountains. It was founded in the 14th century near the peak of Kofinas, at an altitude of 880m.
In the short gorge between Galipe and Kenourgio Horio villages, we find the small cavernous chapel of Agia Anastasia. It is one of the 265 cavernous chapels of Crete and one of the most interesting. It is surrounded by pines and cypresses of a small artificial grove. There is water leaking from the roof, therefore it is considered miraculous.
