Sitia is the easternmost city on Crete and is located 64km east of Agios Nikolaos. The wider area of Sitia province hosts several small beaches where you can enjoy the sun and the sea. However, some who prefer to stay close to town, can visit the long city beach.

The monastery of Holy Cross in Vosako is built in a small plateau between the peaks Koutroulis and Mesokofinas of the Talean Mountains, 50km east of Rethymno. The monastery can be accessed by car via the village Doxaro and the rough landscape is amazing. There is a second road starting from Sisses village.
Beach Filaki (meaning "Prison") is located 3km east of Chora Sfakia and 75km south of Chania. Located close to the only hotel exclusively for nudists in Crete, called "Vritomartis, Filaki and the adjacent beaches of Ammoudi are mainly occupied by nudists.
Η περήφανη οροσειρά της Ίδης ή Ψηλορείτη όπως οι περισσότεροι σήμερα ονομάζουν το ιερό από την αρχαιότητα βουνό έχει τον Τίμιο Σταυρό που με υψόμετρο 2456 μέτρα είναι η ψηλότερη κορφή όλης της Κρήτης. Για την ανάβαση στον Τίμιο Σταυρό υπάρχουν αρκετοί τρόποι και από τη βόρεια πλευρά αλλά και από τη νότια.
Ligres is located 51km south of Rethymno and 7km south of the village Kerames, at the foot of the imposing mount of Siderotas. It is actually the northbound part of the beachfront called Akoumiani Gialia.
Mili Gorge is a stunning green oasis near the town of Rethymno. It is actuallya ravine inside which hosts a huge number of plants and trees, a real botanic garden. It is located north of the village Chromonastiri and south of Xero Chorio. In recent years it attracts many walkers who trek along a nice trail.
Τα Τέρτσα είναι ένα πολύ μικρό χωριό που βρίσκεται 91km νοτιοανατολικά του Ηρακλείου και 54km νοτιοδυτικά του Αγίου Νικολάου, ανάμεσα στο Μύρτος και τη Ψαρή Φοράδα. Βρίσκεται σε μια αρκετά πράσινη, για τα δεδομένα της περιοχής, κοιλάδα που το χειμώνα βρέχεται από τον ποταμό Τσούνα. Μέσα στο μικρό φαράγγι που σχηματίζει ο ποταμός υπάρχει και μια πηγή με γλυκό νερό.
