Ο ναός της Παναγίας στην Κασταμονίτσα της επαρχίας Πεδιάδος βρίσκεται εντός του κοιμητηρίου του χωριού και είναι αφιερωμένος στην Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου (εορτ. 15 Αυγούστου). Στο εσωτερικό του ναού σώζονται σε κακή κατάσταση τοιχογραφίες του 14ου αιώνα.
Στην αγροτική τοποθεσία Μουρτζές νοτιοανατολικά από τον Φουρφουρά Αμαρίου βρίσκεται ο Βυζαντινός ναός του Αγίου Γεωργίου που χρονολογείται στις αρχές του 15ου αιώνα. Ο μικρός μονόχωρος καμαροσκέπαστος ναός έχει κτιστεί στη θέση αρχαιότερου.
Sofiani Peak is the third highest peak of range Kouloukonas reaching an altitude of 892m, after Koutsotroulis (1084m) and Kouloukonas (1076m). It rises to the west of the village of Aloides and during climbing the beautiful shapes that the rocks take are very impressive.
The temple of Saint Anthony (Agios Antonios) is located on the eastern side of the peninsula Rodopou. Here leads a bad dirt road that runs through the plateau of Agios Nikolaos. Around the temple there are ruins of monk cells, apparently belonging to a monastery that operated here with the church of Saint Anthony.
In winter the area turns to a very important wetland. The whole area of Vatalos is full of reeds and covers a distance of 2 kilometers with ponds full with amphibians and birds... In several places the water is kept throughout the year, but the best time to go there late February to early May.
The simple temple of Saint John the Baptist is located at the small plateau of Aloida, in the region of Mesa Lassithi, at an altitude of 1140 meters in the Dikti mountain range. At that point, next to a spring with fresh water, the chieftain Kapetan Kazanis and his men found shelter after 1821, from where they roamed against the Ottomans.
Έξω από τον περίβολο της μονής Παλιανής στο Βενεράτο βρίσκεται ο κοιμητηριακός ναός του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Θεολόγου. Ο μονόχωρος καμαροσκέπαστος ναός τοιχογραφήθηκε στα μέσα του 14ου αιώνα από το ζωγράφο Γεώργιο, ο οποίος σύμφωνα με την κτητορική επιγραφή πάνω από την πρόθεση ζητά από τον ιερέα να τον μνημονεύει κατά τη διάρκεια των ακολουθιών.
