The Gorge Porofarago or Sfakoryako is a small canyon, almost 2 km long, starting from village Kato Vatheia and ending near the settlement of Vrachokipos. It is crossed by the river Krommidas carrying water on the beach Kokini Hani.

The vegetation in the canyon is generally low consisting of oleander, shrubs, thyme and brambles, while the sides are in some places adorned with a few pines. It is generally easily accessible and does not require any special trekking skills.
