Gylisma Beach - 1.5 out of 5 based on 258 votes

Gylisma (or Kambos beach) is located 69km southwest of Chania and 29km south of Kissamos, close to Kambos village. The beach is also known as Afratolakoi.

The beach has coarse pebbles and is not ideal for swimming, especially on windy days. This is mainly preferred by the residents of Kambos.

Afratolakkoi is a good choice for those that want to stay remote. There are some very basic facilities on the beach (for accommodation and food), but there are no umbrellas and sunbeds.

Afratolakki rocky seabed is ideal for snorkeling. If you want to reach the beach, you have to drive 4.5km in a poor conditioned dirt track, leading to the beach from Kambos village.
