The Wax Museum of Potamianos is one of two wax museums that exist in Greece- the second is located in Ioannina- and is an idea of the sculptor Dionysis Potamianos. It is located at Zoniana, at the northern foothills of Psiloritis Mount and could be combined with a visit to the amazing Cave of Zoniana.

The museum Potamianos includes 87 wax figures that depict real-size scenes from the history of Crete. In a specially designed for the museum area of 1000 square meters and with decoration analogous of the subject, the visitor can see scenes of Eleftherios Venizelos, Vitsenzos Kornaros, Arkadi holocaust, El Greco, Nikos Kazantzakis and many other famous Cretans.
