Loutro Tower
A tower that played a very important role in the historical events of its area, is the Tower of Loutro, in Sfakia area. Built next to the fort of Loutro and at the tip of Loutro cape, the tower controlled the sea from both directions.
It was circular and high enough, while it had battlements on its top. Its remains still dominate at the entrance of Loutro harbor.
